Men's Golf in Fifth at Suspended Northern Intercollegiate

SUGAR GROVE, Ill. - The Purdue men's golf team carded a total of 614 (+46) on Saturday at the Northern Intercollegiate and stood in fifth place when play was suspended due to darkness.

The Boilermakers are one stroke behind fourth-place Liberty, and 15 strokes off the pace set by tournament-leading Indiana.

Freshman Jonathan DiIanni shot 149 (+7) on Saturday, and was in a tie for 11th place when play was called. Junior Adam Schenk stood in a tie for 17th with a total of 154 (+12) and sophomore Justin Cho was tied for 23rd with a score of 156 (+14).

Round two will conclude on Sunday morning, with four groups set to finish play before the third round begins. Play will commence at 8:27 a.m. ET.
