Boilermakers Finish in 10th Place at NCAA Ann Arbor Regional

ANN ARBOR, Mich. - The Purdue men's golf team fell short of making the final cut to proceed to the NCAA nationals. The Boilermakers finished 23 over and in 10th place. The top five teams, who all shot under par for the tournament, will move on to nationals.

Senior Tyler Duncan finished tied for 17th place. He finished one under for the tournament after shooting a 71 on the third day for a total of 212 (70, 71, 71).

Freshman Justin Cho finished tied for 45th place. He shot a 72 on the last day for a total 222 (79, 71, 72). One stroke behind him was sophomore Adam Schenk, who shot a 75 on the final day. He totaled 223 with rounds of 71, 77 and 75, giving him a 49th place finish.

Tied for 55th place and with a total of 224, redshirt freshman Enzo Perez scored rounds of 73, 75 and 76 for the tournament. Rounding out the Boilermaker squad was freshman Ben-Marvin Egel. He totaled 226 (77, 76, 73) and tied for 62nd place.

The top five teams for tournament, and who will advance, were Southern California (-11), Oregon (-10), Kent State (-8), Virginia (-6) and TCU (-3). The top individual player was Albin Choi from North Carolina State was ten under par for the tournament.
