Men's Golf In Seventh At Big Ten Championships

FRENCH LICK, Ind. - The Purdue men's golf team shot 308 (+20) as a team on Saturday and moved back into seventh place at the Big Ten Championships after three rounds of play.

The Boilermakers own a team total of 911 (+47) with one round of competition remaining. Illinois leads the tournament with a tally of 884 (+20).

Sophomore Adam Schenk shot 75 (+3) on Saturday to bring his total to 221 (+5) for the event. The Vincennes, Ind., native is tied for sixth after 36 holes of play.

Seniors William Sjaichudin and Tyler Duncan each shot 77 (+5) in the third round, and currently stand in ties for 18th and 24th place, respectively, with totals of 227 (+11) and 229 (+13).

Junior Jakob Ziegler is tied for 39th after three rounds with a total of 234 (+18), while freshman Justin Cho has a stake in 53rd place with a total of 240 (+24).

The final round of the 2012 Big Ten Men's Golf Championships at French Lick Resort will be contested on Sunday. Live scoring will be available at golfstatresults.com.
