COLUMBIA, Mo. - The Purdue men's golf team shot 299 (+11) on Tuesday to secure sole possession of sixth place at the 15-team COG Mizzou Intercollegiate.
The Boilermakers finished with a team total of 894 (+30) at The Club at Old Hawthorne.
Junior Henry Plager was the top-finishing Boilermaker in the individual standings, taking a share of 19th place with a total of 224 (+8). He shot a two-over 74 on Tuesday.
Freshman Justin Cho shot 75 (+3) on Tuesday to tie for 22nd place with a total of 225 (+9). Junior Jakob Ziegler shot even par in the third round for Purdue's best individual round of the day, and tied for 31st place with a total of 227 (+11).
Sophomore Adam Schenk earned a tie for 36th with a score of 228 (+12), while senior Tyler Duncan tied for 39th with a total of 229 (+13). Redshirt freshman Enzo Perez, playing as an individual, tied for 36th with a tally of 228 (+12).
The Boilermakers will take this weekend off before resuming play the following weekend, hosting the Boilermaker Invitational at the Birck Boilermaker Golf Complex.
