EAST LANSING, Mich. - The Purdue men's tennis team dropped a tough road contest at Michigan State on Sunday. The Boilermakers fell to the Spartans, 6-1.

Purdue (7-9, 1-3 Big Ten) started the afternoon off well as it took the doubles point. Mark Kovacs and Pawel Poziomski made quick work of Denis Bogatov and Doug Zade at No. 3, 8-2. Michigan State roared back with a win at No. 2 as Harry Jadun and Austin Brooks knocked off Krisztian Krocsko and Szymon Tatarczyk, 8-4. The point came down to the match at No. 1 and it needed a tiebreak. Aaron Dujovne and Diego Acosta held on to win and clinch the point, 9-8 (7-3).

Michigan State (14-8, 3-3) would storm back in singles. The Spartans won in straight sets at No. 6 and No. 1 to take a 2-1 lead. Krocsko put up a good fight at No. 4, but fell in three sets, 6-2, 3-6, 6-1, which gave the Spartans the win.
