Men's Golf Finishes 11th At NCAA Arizona Regional

TUCSON, Ariz. - The Purdue men's golf team capped its season with a round of 282 (-2) on Saturday to finsh 11th at the NCAA Arizona Regional.

The Boilermakers finished the three-round event with a total of 873 (+21).

Junior Tyler Duncan tied the best round of his collegiate career on Saturday, firing a three-under 68 on the strength of five birdies. The effort moved him into a tie for 23rd place with an even-par 213 for the tournament.

Freshman Adam Schenk posted a level-par 71 on Saturday to finish with a total of 217 (+4) and a share of 42nd place, while senior Erich Johnston was also even on the day and finished in a 53rd-place tie with a score of 220 (+7). Junior William Sjaichudin finished in a tie for 61st with a total of 223 (+10), and sophomore Henry Plager wrapped up the weekend in 73rd with a total of 236 (+23).

The 11th-place finish at the NCAA Arizona Regional concluded a season in which the Boilermakers won three times and finished sixth at the Big Ten Championships.
