WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - After winning two Big Ten games in a row, Purdue lost to Wisconsin for the second time this season. The Boilermakers struggled to put points on the board, managing just 46 points and junior Brittany Rayburn was held scoreless for only the second time in her career.
Purdue was led in scoring by freshman Courtney Moses' 14 points in the 60-46 loss. Drey Mingo contributed 12 points and six rebounds while sophomore Sam Ostarello also had six boards.
Wisconsin senior Lin Zastrow led all scorers with 21 points and 11 rebounds. Tara Steinbauer scored 17 points and Alyssa Karel pitched in 13 points and eight rebounds.
Purdue's Alex Guyton played just 11 minutes and fouled out of the contest. She had six points, two blocks and two steals in her limited time on the floor.
The Boilermakers' return to action at home on Sunday at 2 p.m. against Northwestern. It is National Girls and Women in Sports Day with a free sports clinic in Lambert Fieldhouse from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
