Men's Golf Takes Fifth At Wolfpack Intercollegiate

RALEIGH, N.C. - The Purdue men's golf team moved five spots up the leader board on Saturday to finish fifth at the Wolfpack Intercollegiate with a team total of 885 (+33).

The Boilermakers posted a team score of 287 (+3) on Saturday to make the move up the standings.

Sophomore William Sjaichudin finished in a tie for 18th to lead the Boilermakers, carding a one-over 72 on Saturday and a total of 220 (+7) for the weekend. Classmate Tyler Duncan followed Sjaichudin in the Boilermakers' lineup, finishing in a tie for 22nd with a 54-hole total of 221 (+8).

Junior Nakarintra Ratanakul fired a one-under 70 in Saturday's final round to finish in a tie for 32nd with a nine-over 222, while classmate Erich Johnston wrapped up the tournament in a tie for 41st with a score of 224 (+13). Junior Maximo Kopp finished with a total of 225 (+14) to earn a share of 44th place.

Purdue will be idle for a little more than a week before it heads to Carmel for the Crooked Stick Invitational, scheduled to be held from April 19-20.
