Men's Golf In Ninth After Two Rounds At Radrick Farms

ANN ARBOR, Mich. - The Purdue men's golf team posted a total of 583 (+7) as a team on Saturday in the first two rounds of the Wolverine at Radrick Farms to stand in ninth place with 18 holes remaining in the tournament.

Junior Erich Johnston backed up a solid 74 (+2) in the first round with an even-par 72 in the afternoon session to finish the day with a total of 146 (+2), good for a share of 26th place. Sophomore William Sjaichudin, making his season debut, also wrapped up the day as part of the group tied for 26th at 146, carding 73 (+1) in both of Saturday's rounds.

Junior Maximo Kopp rode a two-under 70 in the second round to a tie for 31st after the first day of play, hitting the clubhouse with a total of 147 (+3), while classmate Nakarintra Ratanakul turned in a pair of 74s on Saturday and will tee off in the final round in a tie for 39th with a score of 148 (+4). Sophomore Tyler Duncan also finished the day in a tie for 39th after firing a 73 (+1) in the first round and a 75 (+3) in the afternoon circuit.

The final 18 holes of the Wolverine at Radrick Farms will tee off at 8:30 a.m. on Sunday. In addition to results on golfstat.com, a recap and results will be posted on purduesports.com.
