COLUMBUS, Ohio - The Purdue men's and women's diving teams were once again led by David Boudia on Saturday at the Ohio State Swimming and Diving Intivational. The freshman took the 3-meter title in Columbus, leaving just tomorrow's platform competition left for the weekend sweep.

Boudia sat in fifth place after this morning's prelims with a score of 346.20. He came out huge in the evening session, however, scoring 430.30 points in the finals to take the 3-meter crown. He also won yesterday's 1-meter title with a Purdue record score of 419.85.

Teammate David Colturi had another solid day, as well. He scored a 342.60 in the prelims before a 385.75 in the finals shot him all the way up to fifth. He was in eighth after the morning session, earning the last spot in the finals where he posted a season-high mark.

Danny Cox finished ninth at 319.15 and Kyle Mitrione was 13th at 304.75.

Casey Matthews was the top finisher on 1-meter for the women's team. She was in seventh after her prelim score of 270.30, but moved up to finish fifth with 294.40 points in the finals. Her score in the finals was good for a career high.

Ashley Beal also advanced to the 1-meter finals, finishing seventh at 269.30. She scored a 273.30 in the prelims.

Emily Wetzel narrowly missed out on the finals, scoring a 260.15 for ninth place. Kara Cook finished 12th with 253.05 points.

The final day of competition at the Ohio State Swimming and Diving Invitational is tomorrow beginning at 11 a.m. ET at the McCorkle Aquatic Pavilion. Doors open to the public at 8 a.m. and live results will be provided on purduesports.com.
