IOWA CITY, Iowa - Purdue (8-4, 2-0 Big Ten) snapped Iowa's 12-game home win streak with a 69-60 victory in Iowa City on Sunday.

The Boilermakers took a 25-23 lead at the half after freshman Chantel Poston came up with a steal with four seconds left and then knocked down a 15-foot jump shot at the buzzer.

The Purdue post players took over in the second half as seniors Lindsay Wisdom-Hylton and Danielle Campbell each scored 11 points in the period to help the Boilermakers to the win. Wisdom-Hylton finished with a game-high 17 points, pulled down seven rebounds, had four steals and a blocked shot. Campbell recorded her first double-double of the season and the seventh of her career with 15 points and 12 rebounds.

Senior Lakisha Freeman had a solid all-around game with 10 points on 5 of 8 shooting from the field, six rebounds, four assists, two blocks and two steals.

Purdue outrebounded Iowa 40 to 33, including an 18 to 12 advantage on the offensive boards.

It was another excellent defensive performance for Purdue as they held the Hawkeyes to 16 of 48 shooting for 33.3 percent and forced 19 turnovers on 12 steals by the Boilermakers.

Iowa was led by Kristi Smith's 16 points. Kachine Alexander scored 15 points, including 11 made free throws and Wendy Ausdemore contributed 13 points.

The win was Sharon Versyp's 175th career victory and the Boilermakers 300th regular season Big Ten win.
