Big Ten Singles Championship: Day Two Results

MADISON, Wis. - The Purdue men's tennis team struggled on the second day of competition yesterday at the Big Ten Singles Championship, as seven of eight players failed to advance out of the first round.
Junior Slavko Bijelica was the lone bright spot for the Boilermakers, rallying to beat Tobias Reitz (Northwestern) in the first round, 5-7, 6-3, 7-6 (5), and taking out Waylon Chin (Illinois) in the second, 6-1, 7-5.
Bijelica now plays Peter Aarts (Michigan) in the Round of 16 beginning Sunday.
Consolation rounds will begin at 9 a.m. ET, followed by main draw action.
