MADISON, Wis. - The Purdue men's tennis team advanced both of their qualifiers into the main draw today at the Big Ten Singles Championship at the University of Wisconsin.

Freshman Thomas Wilson defeated Clark Richardson (Michigan State), 6-2, 6-4. Wilson will play Maxime Armengaud (Indiana) in tomorrow's first round.

Sophomore Matt Manasse lost his first match, but won a consolation match to advance to the main draw. He edged out Eddie Svenda (Minnesota), 7-6 (5), 6-3 and will take on Peter Marrack (Wisconsin) in the first round tomorrow.

All eight Boilermaker men will be in the main draw tomorrow at the Big Ten Championships. Check purduesports.com for more updates from Madison, Wis.
