WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - No. 38 Indiana snapped Purdue's nine-match home doubles winning streak en route to a 6-1 victory Saturday afternoon at the Schwartz Tennis Center.

The Boilermakers had not lost a doubles point at home since falling to Illinois at last year's Big Ten Tournament, and despite handling No. 14 Michigan's combos last weekend, could not figure out the Hoosiers.

Purdue won at No. 3 doubles as Jose Fuenmayor and Eric Ramos defeated Peter Antons and Santiago Gruter, 8-6, but Branko Kuzmanovic and P.J. Rose lost 8-3 at No. 1, and Griff Nienberg and Slavko Bijleica dropped an 8-5 decision at No. 2.

Things did not go much better in singles, however, the Boilermakers did play competitively at each of the six positions. Sophomore Bijelica was the home team's lone victor after dispatching Dara McLoughlin 7-5, 2-6, 6-2 at the No. 2 spot.

Paul Foley lost in three sets at No. 6. Ramos lost a tie break at No. 5 and both Rose and Kuzmanovic lost by matching 6-4, 7-5 scores.

Purdue's four-match homestand comes to an end Sunday when it plays host to nationally ranked No. 2 Ohio State at noon. Admission is free.
