WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - The Boilermakers' trip to Southern California was spolied once again as they dropped a 7-0 decision to host San Diego. Purdue, which began the season 7-0, fell to 7-4, while the Toreros improved to 7-5.
Friday's loss was Purdue's worst of the season. Not only did the Boilermakers lose all three doubles matches, but they also were beaten at all six singles positions for the first time this season - and all of them in straight sets.
Purdue returns home to the Schwartz Tennis Center Friday for a 1:30 p.m. match with Indiana State. The Boilermakers are 4-2 at home this season.
