EAST LANSING, Mich. (AP) - Jodi Howell scored 25 points, including 7-for-8 shooting on 3-pointers, and No. 13 Purdue beat No. 20 Michigan State 70-60 Thursday night in a matchup of Big Ten co-leaders.
Howell, the conference leader in 3-point shooting, was 9-for-11 from the field.
Lindsay Wisdom-Hylton had 19 points and 11 rebounds and Katie Gearlds added 12 points and six assists for Purdue (15-3, 4-0), which was playing its third straight road game.
Allyssa DeHaan, a 6-foot-9 freshman, had 14 points and 13 rebounds to lead the Spartans (12-4, 3-1). Mia Johnson had 13 points and Aisha Jefferson 10.
Michigan State led 51-50 before Howell's seventh 3. Erin Lawless helped Purdue break it open with an 18-foot jumper and a three-point play inside.
