TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (AP) - Marico Stinson scored a career-high 24 points off the bench to lead Indiana State to an 89-70 victory over Purdue on Thursday.

Gabe Moore added 18 points and six assists and Adam Arnold had 13 points and eight rebounds for the Sycamores (7-4).

Carl Landry scored 22 points on 8-of-11 shooting to lead the Boilermakers (10-3) in their first game of the season on an opponent's home court. Purdue lost for the second time in its last 10 games despite shooting 24-of-45 (53 percent) from the floor.

Indiana State never trailed in the first half and went on a 15-1 run over the final 3:20 to take a 46-31 halftime lead. The Sycamores shot 15-of-27 (56 percent) from the floor and 5-of-7 from 3-point range in the first half.

Stinson scored 12 of his points in the second half and hit two 3-pointers during a 12-7 Indiana State run over the final 4:16.

Indiana State outrebounded Purdue 34-23 and outscored the Boilermakers 19-4 in second-chance points.
