WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - The Purdue men's tennis team lost its fourth straight match 6-1 Saturday against Texas Tech in the Rice Invitational in Houston. The match drops the Boilermakers to 5-9 on the season.

Purdue lost the doubles point and did not win one of the three matches. At the No. 2 spot, Colin Foster and Kurt Zaske were not able to finish the match, thus resulting defeat.

In singles, the lone winner junior Scott Warner, who at the No. 6 position defeated Teddy DiBlasi 7-6, 1-6, 6-3 to gain the Boilermaker's single point.

Purdue resumes play in the Rice Invitational on Sunday when it faces South Florida. The match is scheduled to begin at 9 a.m.
