Final Stats

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - The Purdue men's tennis team concluded the weekend with a 5-2 win over Butler Sunday afternoon at the Lafayette Sports Center. The win gives the Boilermakers a 4-0 record heading into next weekend when they head north for matches against Notre Dame and Western Michigan.

Purdue got off to a slow start by losing the doubles point. The lone win for the Boilermakers in doubles play came from Patrick Rose and Eric Hodgman at the No. 1 spot. They defeated Brandon Gill and Parker Ross 8-5.

From there, it got much better for Purdue in singles play. The Boilermakers managed to win five of the six matches for the victory. Winning in singles for the Boilermakers were Colin Foster, Hodgman, Rose, Jarred Leibner and Matt Zollman.

Purdue will go on the road next week as it faces opponents Notre Dame and Western Michigan.
