ATHENS, Ga. - Sophomore Zach Schultz was the Boilermakers' top finisher off the platform tower Sunday at the Georgia diving invitational, placing third with 283.35 points.

Sunday's performance marked one of the few times this season that Schultz has been able to finish better than his teammates: Steve LoBue, Josh Karshen and J.R. Hillis.

LoBue came in fourth with 279.60 points and Karshen was fifth with 274.90 points. Carrie McCambridge finished 12th in the combined competition with 222.80 points.

For the third straight day, the top two placers were Georgia's Chris Colwill and Auburn's Steven Segerlin. Colwill scored 380.70 points, while Segerlin collected 334.00.

The divers return home to the Boilermaker Aquatic Center this weekend for a pair of meets. The men play host to Michigan Friday at 5 p.m. and the women welcome Illinois State Saturday at 1 p.m. Both meets are the home finales for both teams.
