BLOOMINGTON, Ind. (AP) - Marco Killingsworth scored 18 points, while Robert Vaden and Roderick Wilmont keyed a second-half run to lead No. 13 Indiana past Purdue 62-49 on Saturday.

Indiana (12-3, 4-1) moved into a share of the Big Ten lead with Wisconsin by beating its instate rival for the ninth time in 11 games. It was also Indiana's 12th straight conference win at home - its longest such streak since winning 31 in a row between 1991-95.

Vaden and Wilmont each finished with 14 points.

Marcus White led the Boilermakers (7-10, 1-5) with 19 points. Matt Kiefer and Gary Ware each had seven. But they lost their 20th straight regular-season road game and haven't beaten a ranked opponent since January 2004.

The Hoosiers, one of the nation's best shooting teams, shot a season-low 39.1 percent from the field and were uncharacteristically out of sync against the Boilermakers' strong defense.

Purdue struggled, too. It also set season-lows for shooting percentage (34.0) and total points in Matt Painter's head coaching debut in the rivalry.

Most of the game was downright ugly, and neither team could take advantage of the shooting woes early.

Indiana finally got going with a 9-0 run late in the first half to take a 22-15 lead. Purdue closed the half on a 7-4 spurt to get to 26-22 at the half and tied the score at 30 after opening the second half on an 8-4 run.

Then the Hoosiers got started. Killingsworth and Wilmont combined for half of Indiana's points in a 13-2 run that gave them a 43-32 lead.

Purdue countered with seven straight to make it 43-39, but Vaden and Wilmont never let the Boilermakers get closer.

Vaden's 3 ended the run, and Wilmont followed that with a 12-footer to extend the lead to 48-39. Vaden and Wilmont then hit back-to-back 3s to make it 54-41 and Purdue only got as close as eight the rest of the way.

Indiana, which has now won six straight home games in the series, closed it out by going 6-of-8 from the free-throw line in the final 1:48.
