COLUMBUS, Ohio - Purdue senior and Columbus native Carrie McCambridge is certainly feeling at home in the diving well of Ohio State's brand new McCorkle Aquatics Center.

A day removed from setting the pool record off the 3-meter springboard, McCambridge won the 1-meter competition Saturday night at the Ohio State Open with 317.70 points. McCambridge will attempt to win all three boards Sunday, diving off the platform tower.

Jenna Dreyer of Miami, who was one of four Hurricane divers to score among the top eight, was the runner-up with 291.00 points. McCambridge's conference rivals Nancilea Underwood of Iowa (284.20) and Julie Broms of Ohio State (245.25) placed fourth and seventh.

Purdue scored three divers in the men's 3-meter competition, led by junior Steven LoBue, who placed fourth with 329.90 points. J.R. Hillis (282.75) and Josh Karshen (272.80) finished seventh and eighth.

Arizona State's national champion Joona Puhakka won his second springboard title of the weekend with 371.80 points, beating second place Kellen Harkness of Ohio State by 15 points.
