CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas (AP) - Tye Jackson had 17 points to lead five Boilermakers in double figures, and No. 15 Purdue beat Texas A&M-Corpus Christi 73-44 Friday night to win the Flint Hills Resources Islander Classic.

Jackson finished 6-of-9 with four 3-pointers, and Katie Gearlds and Erin Lawless added 12 points apiece for Purdue (3-0). Emily Heikes had 10 points and 10 rebounds and Lindsay Wisdom-Hylton had 10 points, four assists and three blocked shots.

The Boilermakers turned 25 Islanders turnovers into 29 points.

Jackie Ododa and Jillianne Duffey each scored eight points for Texas A&M-Corpus Christi (3-1).

Purdue used an 18-3 run in the first half to take a 23-7 lead. Jackson hit two 3-pointers in the last 1:30 for a 36-16 at the break.

Purdue shot 51 percent to just 26 percent by the Islanders.
