EVANSTON, Ill. (AP) - Shereka Wright and the No. 5 Purdue Boilermakers are certainly comfortable on the road.

Wright scored 19 points Sunday to lead Purdue to an 80-45 victory over Northwestern on Sunday, extending the Boilermakers' winning streak to 12 and improving their road record to 11-0.

"It seems like we do play better on the road right now," Wright said of the Boilermakers, who will play their next three games at home. "I don't like the way we've been winning at home."

Katie Gearlds and Erin Lawless added 13 points apiece for Purdue. Samantha McComb led the Wildcats (8-16, 1-12) with 16 points.

With the score tied at 16 with 8:54 remaining in the first half, Purdue (21-2, 11-1) went on a 19-5 run, taking a comfortable 35-19 lead into halftime. Purdue made it 70-34 on Wright's two free throws with 4:52 remaining in the game.

"We're not the most talented team in the country or league, but we take care of each other," Purdue head coach Kristy Curry said.

During the Boilermaker's first half charge, Wright scored nine of her 13 first-half points on two layups and five free throws. All told, she got to the line 20 times.

"It's good that I got in that position to get there," she said.
