Purdue senior women's tennis player Gretchen Haynor bowed out of the Riviera/ITA All-American Championships Saturday in Los Angeles.

Haynor won her first-round prequalifying match, with a 6-4, 6-2 decision over UCLA's Anya Loncaric. Hours later, she fell 6-2, 6-1 to USC's Dianne Matias.

The Riviera/ITA All-Americans, a single-elimination tournament, is one of three national championship events in women's collegiate tennis.
