No. 11 Women's Basketball Upset By Ohio State 56-51

COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) - Kim Wilburn's jumper with 35 seconds left broke a 50-all tie, and Ohio State held on to defeat No. 11 Purdue 56-51 Sunday.

Caity Matter scored 19 points to lead the Buckeyes (18-8, 9-6 Big Ten), who snapped a three-game losing streak. Wilburn had 12.

Shereka Wright scored 22 points to lead Purdue (21-5, 10-4). Her free throw got the Boilermakers to 52-51 with 20 seconds left, but Ohio State made four free throws to seal the win.

The Buckeyes, who improved to 13-0 at home, led the entire second half until Wright's jumper tied it at 50 with 1:01 left.

Ohio State scored 21 points off Purdue's 20 turnovers, seven of which were committed by Wright.

Emily Heikes added 11 points for the Boilermakers.

D'wan Shackleford added 10 points for the Buckeyes, who shot just 35 percent but turned the ball over 11 times.
