WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - The Purdue men's tennis team faced a 5-2 loss on Friday night to Minnesota. With the loss, the Boilermakers fell to 6-4 (1-1 Big Ten).
Purdue's staple of great doubles play was once again unrivaled as they successfully won two matches for the point.
The singles action was a bit more difficult. Scott Mayer defeated Jorge Duenas at No. 2 singles for the Boilermakers lone victory.
Purdue will travel to Hawaii for spring break to face Weber State, Nebraska and Hawaii.
