WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - Senior Jason Marshall of the men's tennis team was the lone Boilermaker to advance to the Round of 16 at the Big Ten Singles Championship in Ann Arbor, Mich., on Saturday.
Marshall, the tournament's No. 2 seed, defeated Michigan State's Goran Topalo 7-5, 6-1. He knocked off Northwestern's Jackie Jenkins 6-4, 6-0. Marshall will face Andrew Carlson of Ohio State on Sunday at 11 a.m.
