WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - The Purdue men's tennis team fell 7-0 to Pepperdine Friday in Malibu.
"Pepperdine plays with a lot of confidence," Purdue head coach Tim Madden said. "They are one of the best in the country and it is easy to see why. They are very talented and deep."
The Waves only allowed Purdue one win in doubles action. Laith Al-Agba and Scott Mayer were able to pull off an 8-6 victory over Al Garland and Chase Exon.
"We learned a lot this week," Madden said. "We've seen what the best is. We're not that far away, and we'll continue to get better."
