WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - The Mackey Arena video board and sound system upgrade project has resumed. Workers spent hours Monday, Aug. 2, building scaffolding on the basketball playing floor that will assist them in bringing down the old "speaker cloud" hanging from the ceiling of the 37-year-old facility. Once the speaker cloud is removed, new elements will be brought in and installed.
