WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - Fifty-one Purdue student-athletes from five fall sports received Academic All-Big Ten honors, the Big Ten office announced today.
A total of 573 student-athletes across the Big Ten received all-academic recognition, meeting the criteria of being at least a second-year student at their institution while carrying a minimum career grade-point average of 3.0 or better.
Purdue volleyball juniors Daren Poe and Leah Wischmeier headline the list of Boilermaker honorees as two of seven Big Ten fall student-athletes with perfect 4.0 cumulative GPA's.
