Charlie Greer

Charlie Greer Assistant Cheerleading/Mascot Coach

Charlie Greer is entering his third season as the assistant cheerleading and mascot coach at Purdue. Greer served as a Boilermaker cheerleader from 1999 through 2002 and cheered at three bowl games, several Big Ten tournament games and the NCAA Women's Basketball National Championship game in St. Louis.

Additionally, he was named to three national competition teams that placed 3rd, 5th and 2nd at the National Cheerleaders Association College competition in Daytona, Florida.

Prior to Purdue, Greer attended the University of Indianapolis where he cheered for one year. A native of Portage, Indiana, Greer graduated in 2003 from Purdue with a Bachelor of Science degree in Organizational Leadership and Supervision.

Charlie is married to former Purdue cheerleader and teammate Melinda Wilkinson (1999-2003). The couple resides in Lafayette.
