WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - The Big Ten has named 384 winter sports student-athletes to its 2002 academic all-conference team. The list honored 35 Purdue athletes from the men's and women's basketball teams, as well as the men's and women's swimming and diving, and wrestling teams.
To be eligible for Academic All-Big Ten recognition, student-athletes must be letterwinners in at least their second academic year at their institution and carry a career grade-point average of 3.0 or better.
