Activities Abound At Colts-Saints Game Fireworks show will cap off fun-filled evening

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - Fans attending the Colts-Saints football game hosted by Purdue this Saturday, Aug. 12, will have plenty of opportunities to enjoy themselves before, during and after the contest.

From 4:30 to 6:30 p.m., the ATA Colts FunZone will be open in the North Parking Lot of Ross-Ade Stadium. The FunZone will feature a number of interactive games, as well as a meet-and-greet session with the Colts cheerleaders and mascots. A live rhythm-and-blues band also will be performing on the concourse prior to the 7 p.m. kickoff.

At halftime, four randomly selected fans will have a chance to win as much as $300 in groceries through a promotion sponsored by Marsh Supermarkets. Grocery carts will be placed at the 10-, 20- and 30-yard lines, and contestants will attempt to toss footballs into the buggies from various locations on the field. Winners who successfully land a ball into the carts will be awarded Marsh gift certificates in $100, $200 and $300 increments.

After the game, fans will be encouraged to remain in their seats to watch a fireworks display. The staging area will be the grand Prix track, at the corner of Northwestern Avenue and Cherry Lane.

Tickets, priced at $20 for end zone seats to $55 for seats on the 50-yard line, are available from the Purdue Athletic Ticket Office in the Intercollegiate Athletic Facility and Ticketmaster. Tickets can also be purchased the day of the game at the Athletic Ticket Office, which will open at 2 p.m.
