Jacqueline McGill-Reed
Jacqueline McGill-Reed serves as the assistant athletics director of compliance for Purdue Athletics, a role she has been in since July of 2024. McGill-Reed arrived in West Lafayette in January of 2019 as the assistant director of compliance and was promoted to director of compliance in April of 2021. In her role with the Boilermakers, McGill-Reed serves as the sport administrator for the softball program and manages the compliance efforts for football, women’s basketball, softball, and wrestling. While overseeing the educational efforts by the Athletics Compliance Office, she also oversees the Athletics Compliance internship program. She serves on the National Association for Athletics Compliance (NAAC) Education Committee and is an active member of Women Leaders in College Sports. McGill-Reed was selected as a NAAC mentee in 2020-21 and 2019-20, respectively. She also served on the NCAA Eligibility Center DI External Advisory Group from January 2019 to August of 2022. Prior to her arrival in West Lafayette, McGill-Reed spent two years at Northern Colorado as the assistant director of compliance from June 2017 to December 2018. Twice during her time in Greeley, Colo., McGill-Reed stepped into the interim director role. McGill-Reed got her start in athletics compliance at her alma mater Western Kentucky as a graduate assistant from August 2015 to June 2017 and a compliance intern in the summer of 2015. A native of Southern Illinois, McGill-Reed earned her master's degree in sport administration from Western Kentucky in 2017 and her bachelor's degree in sports management in 2015. McGill-Reed was named graduate student of the year in 2017. She was a member of the softball team from 2011-2015 and led the team to two Regional appearances in 2013 and 2015. McGill-Reed represented the softball team as the SAAC representative for 2013-14 and 2014-15. Jacqueline and her wife, Whitney, have one son, Micah.
