• Started 15 of 16 duals, scoring 39 points.
• Earned an automatic bid to his first NCAA Championships, snapping a 14-year absence of a Purdue heavyweight at the tournament ... Israel Blevins was the last heavyweight NCAA qualifier in 2004 ... went 2-2 in Cleveland ... Streck knocked out 13th-seeded Billy Miller of Edinboro in the first round 11-5, then nearly knocked off Duke’s fourth-seeded All-American Jacob Kasper, losing 4-2 in sudden victory ... picked up his fourth major decision of the season, beating Stephen Suglio of Kent State 12-3 in wrestlebacks ... was bounced by eventual All-American and fifth-seeded Sam Stoll of Iowa.

Streck became the first nationally ranked heavyweight for Purdue since Roger Vukobratovich in the Jan. 20, 2012, rankings.
• Faced 16 ranked opponents, with 11 being ranked in the top 10, a team high ... nine of his 14 losses on the season were to top-10 opponents, four of those nine losses were by one or two points ... on Dec. 10, The Open Mat listed Streck’s schedule as the second toughest among all weights nationally ... at that time, seven of his 19 matches had been against a ranked opponent, five of which were in the top 10.
• Went 4-2 on his way to placing seventh at the Midlands Championships as the No. 9-seed ... became just the third Purdue heavyweight to ever place at Midlands and the first since 2011 when Vukobratovich placed eighth.

• Had a monstrous, 33-second pin of Pitt’s eighth-ranked Ryan Solomon in the fifth-place match in Las Vegas ... it was his second win over Solomon in two days, upsetting him 10-8 in the third round on day 1 ... became the first Purdue heavyweight to place at the tournament since Jake O’Brien was fifth in 2004.
• Placed third at the Navy Classic ... dropped a narrow 6-5 decision to No. 10 Michael Hughes of Hofstra in the in semifinals after being shutout 8-0 the previous weekend at the Journeymen/MyHouse Northeast Duals ... carried a 5-3 lead late into the third period thanks to an escape and a takedown early in the frame before Hughes escaped and scored the winning takedown.
