• Won first three matches of the season on his way to a third-place finish at the Princeton Open ... it was his highest tournament finish since placing second at the 2017 Greyhound Open as a redshirt freshman.
• Wysocki scored the most points in a match for Purdue in the Rutgers dual, topping Jake Benner 8-1 ... Wysocki had a pair of takedowns in the opening frame and a reversal in the second ... he added an escape in the third and finished with 1:21 of riding time ... it was the first conference dual victory of his career.
• Closed out the regular season with an 8-4 showing against Central Michigan’s Bret Fedewa ... Wysocki struck off the whistle with a quick six-point move ... two reversals for Fedewa made it a 6-4 advantage for Wysocki going into the third period ... a takedown off a neutral start and a rideout sealed the victory for Wysocki.
• Twice beat Maryland’s Phil Spadafora at the Big Ten Championships, knocking the No. 11 seed out with 5-2 decision in wrestlebacks and then beat him 5-3 in the quarterfinals of the six-man bracket ... last match was due to Big Ten receiving nine automatic NCAA bids.
