• Edged Malcolm Robinson of Rutgers 8-7 to win the Journeymen Collegiate Classic 133-pound B draw ... also picked up a major decision and a technical fall in first two matches.
• Saw first dual action of his career, appearing in all four duals at South Beach Duals ... two of the four opponents were ranked in the top 10.
• Ended season by taking second at Greyhound Open ... had three first period pins advance to the finals, where he met teammate Jack Cheney.
