• CSCAA National Invitational Championships Qualifier (50, 100 & 200 Breast, 100 IM, 200 Medley Relay)
• USA Swimming Speedo Summer Championships Qualifier (100m & 200m Breast)
• Competed primarily in the breaststroke events
• Season-Best Times: 53.53 in the 100 breast and 1:56.93 in the 200 breast, both coming at the Big Ten Championships
• In program history, moved into eighth place in the 200 breast 10th place in the 100 breast
• Accounted for Purdue’s second-fastest times and a pair of B Cuts in both breaststroke events at Big Tens
• Accounted for 31 team points at the Purdue Invitational, finishing top four in the A finals of both breaststroke events
• At the NIC meet in Florida to conclude the season, finished fifth in the A final of the 200 breast and won the B final of the 100 breast

• Bronze medalist at the Horizon League Championships in the 200 breaststroke; also took fifth in the 100 breast
• Qualified for the CSCAA National Invitational Championships in the 50 and 100 breast as well as the 100 IM
• Academic Advisor’s List honoree for his 3.0-plus GPA
• At the 2023 Indiana Senior State Championships, won silver in the 100m breast and bronze in the 200m breast
• Qualified for USA Swimming’s TYR Pro Championships in Southern California in the 100m breast and the 4x100 medley relay
HIGH SCHOOL
• Swam for coach Beth Brown at Harrison High School in West Lafayette
• Also competed in sprints and long jump for track & field as an underclassman
• Two-time conference champion in the 100 breast as an upperclassman
• 100 breast Time drop from sophomore to senior years: 1:14 to 1:02, 1:02-1:00, 1:00-57 seconds
• Honored as Harrison’s Team MVP as a junior, mental attitude award recipient as a senior, most improved as a sophomore
• Sectional qualifier in the 200 free as a freshman
• Also competed for Boilermaker Aquatics, training at the Morgan J. Burke Aquatic Center

• Maxwell is a fifth generation Boilermaker and the 23rd member of his family to attend Purdue University
• The Alexander and Blume portions of his family tree features Purdue alumni going back to his great great grandfather Donald Alexander, who was Class of 1916
