WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – The Purdue Boilermakers went the distance vs. Michigan State, falling 3-4 on Purdue's Wimbledon Day.
With the result, the Spartans snapped the Boilermakers' perfect home record as Purdue moves to 9-1 in home matches, 10-5 overall record and 4-4 in the Big Ten.
Despite the loss, the Boilermakers saw one of the largest crowds in recent history for the Wimbledon-themed match.
Purdue returns to action tomorrow to take on No. 3 Michigan at noon ET.
