AZUSA, Calif. – As the clock turned to midnight in the eastern time zone on Friday into Saturday, Purdue Outdoor Track & Field distance concluded the Bryan Clay Invitational with the 1500m.
Men's Notes
• Joel Gomez led the men's side of the 'Open A' section of the 1500m finishing 19th in 3:46.87. He fell 1.11 seconds shy of his personal best set earlier this season in Tampa.
• Hugh Jacobsmeyer was the other Boiler in the men's 1500m and finished in 3:52.92.
Women's Notes
• Julia Economou was the lone women's runner for the Boilermakers in the 1500m and ran 4:29.56 to finish 43rd out of 160 finishers in the 'Open A' section.
