Purdue Drops 2-4 Decision at #25 Wisconsin

MADISON, Wis. – No. 66 Purdue women's tennis dropped a 2-4 decision at No. 25 Wisconsin in weekend road-opener. With the result, the Boilermakers fall to 10-7 (4-6 Big Ten) while the Badgers improve to 15-3 (8-2 Big Ten).
 
At the No. 6 spot, freshman Kathryn Wilson picked up her second win of Big Ten play and fifth in 2025 as she downed Kaja Jacobson 6-4, 7-5.
 
Purdue came out with a strong start, winning the doubles point behind wins at No. 2 position with Carmen Gallardo Guevara and Ashlie Wilson (W, 7-5) and No. 3 spot with Ida Clement and Kathryn Wilson (W, 6-4).
 
The Boilermakers will be back in action on Sunday at Minnesota. The dual, set to begin at 1 p.m. ET will be the final road test of the regular season. Then next week, Purdue will close out its last two matches at Schwartz Tennis Center, which will include Senior Day in the regular season finale.
