WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – The Purdue women's tennis team will take on Miami of Ohio and Xavier at Schwartz Tennis Center on Saturday, Jan. 20 at 11 a.m. and Sunday, Jan. 21 at noon, respectively.
The Boilermakers are coming off a successful season opener after defeating Ball State 7-0. Under head coach Laura Glitz, Purdue has gone 14-3 in season openers. The win makes for an all-time series record of 16-0 between the Boilermakers and the Cardinals.
The Miami Women's tennis team has competed in one match this season. The RedHawks were swept in the season opener at the University of Kentucky. In the 2022-23 regular season, Miami went 11-14 with a MAC record of 5-5.
Xavier returns six of its players from 2022-23 season. The Musketeers finished the season 14-8, going undefeated in conference play. The program has won the last three BIG EAST Championships.
