"I am so, very excited and proud for Katie to be to be the next Boilermaker head coach! She was a fearless competitor, leader and consummate gym rat as a player, and I know these characteristics will make her a GREAT head coach. She is one of those unique individuals whose grit, passion and love for the game will be infectious with her student-athletes on the court, in the classroom and in the community. Katie is a winner, and without a doubt, will continue the proud tradition of Purdue women's basketball."
