2015 Purdue Coaching Clinic Itinerary
WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - The Purdue football coaching staff has announced that it will host its 79th annual coaching clinic on April 17. Featured speakers at the clinic will be North Gwinnett High School's Bob Sphire, Westfield High School's Jake Gilbert, Arlington Martin High School's Bob Wagner, Ben Davis High School's Mike Kirschner and the Detroit Lions' Bill Sheridan.
Coaching Clinic Itinerary
7:45-8:30 a.m. - Registration and breakfast
8:45 a.m. - Staff introductions
8:55-9:35 a.m. - Coach Sphire (spread offense with emphasis on run/pass options
9:45-10:25 a.m. - Coach Gilbert (winning defense - creating turnovers and eliminating explosive plays
10:35-11:15 a.m. - Coach Kirschner (year round program)
11:30 a.m.-12:15 p.m. - Lunch
12:30-1:15 p.m. - Coach Wagner (special teams)
1:20-2:05 p.m. - Coach Sheridan (principles of defense and linebacker play)
2:15-2:45 p.m. - Purdue coaches breakout sessions
2:55-3:25 p.m. - Weight room demonstrations
3:35-5 p.m. - Purdue spring practice
