WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. -- With just two days until the 2014 Alumni Game, 27 players have announced that they will play in Saturday's contest and the rosters have been organized.
The Black team will consist of Chris Kramer, Bobby Riddell, Dru Anthrop, Ryan Berning, D.J. Byrd, Jaraan Cornell, Troy Lewis, Mike Robinson, Ryne Smith, Roy Hairston, Todd Mitchell, Drake Morris, Brian Cardinal and Travis Carroll. Eight-time national Coach of the Year Gene Keady will lead the Black squad.
Wearing Purdue Gold will be David Teague, Maynard Lewis, Tony Rhem, Kenneth Lowe, John Anthrop, Lewis Jackson, Charlie Lundstrom, Mark Wohlford, Rodney Smith, Frank Kendrick, Brandon Brantley, Matt Kiefer and Craig Riley. The Gold team will be coached by current head coach Matt Painter.
Alums scheduled to attend, but not compete are Chad Austin, Ned Boyer, Brett Buscher, Bob Ford, Paul Friend, Keaton Grant, Tom Hess, Rob Hughes, Robbie Hummel, JaJuan Johnson, Chad Kerkhof, E'Twaun Moore, Mike Needham, Ted Reasoner, Dave Schellhase, Randy Shields, Bill Smalley, Dave Steinhilber, Everette Stephens and Ralph Taylor.
The contest will tip at noon in Mackey Arena and tickets are available at the Mackey Arena ticket window, which will open at 10:30 a.m. (ET). Fans will be permitted to enter the arena at 11 a.m. Tickets can be purchased for as little as $5.
FORMAT
The game will feature two, 20-minute halves.
HALFTIME
At halftime, the alumni not playing will be recognized on the court, followed by the members of the 2014-15 Purdue men's basketball team.
POSTGAME
Following a 15-minute cooling-down, media period, select alums and current Boilermakers will be made available around the Mackey Arena concourse for an autograph session. To expidite the process and keep the lines moving, we request that you ask for just one autograph of each individual.
PARKING
Will be on a first-come, first-serve basis.
CONCESSIONS
Select concession stands around the Mackey Arena concourse will be open.
