The original AstroTurf was replaced with FieldTurf in 2006 and again in 2017. The field was named for Richard, Alice and Kimra Schleicher, who made the lead gift for its refurbishment in 2006.
New All-American and bowl banners were put up in 2019.
The two-story weight training room covers nearly 14,000 square feet.
The completion of the the third floor and the mezzanine in 1994 was made possible by Howard R. "Monk" Kissell, class of 1931, who provided the majority of the $1 million cost.
BIMEL PRACTICE COMPLEX
The Bimel Practice Complex, which features two lighted 100-yard fields - one Bermuda grass to match the surface in Ross-Ade Stadium and one FieldTurf - was built in 2009 and resides north of the Kozuch Football Performance Complex. It was named for longtime Purdue Athletics benefactor Carl Bimel in 2012.
